Our Story
BIOVIT was born out of frustration with the food industry. Ky Wright founded Human Food, a meal replacement brand, and discovered that he couldn’t get organic certification because the vitamins and minerals available were all synthetically produced.
That’s when he saw the gap: the food and drink industry needed a dedicated supplier of natural, organic vitamins and minerals.
He founded BIOVIT to fill it.

Since then, the company has secured £2.7 million in Innovate UK funding through the ‘Better Food for All’ programme, partnered with Swansea University to conduct the first clinical bioavailability trial of natural vs synthetic vitamins, and put the first BIOVIT-fortified products on UK shelves.
“BIOVIT is on a mission to improve the health of people and the planet through the use of natural vitamins and minerals.”
- Ky Wright, BIOVIT Founder and CEO
Today, BIOVIT supplies brands like Cheerful Buddha, Veloforte, Purition, and Love Mushrooms with over 16 natural vitamins and minerals, 10+ premix blends, and a full consultancy service — all from a single, specialist supplier.
